Octave Federal, the rebrand of Hexagon US Federal, achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 in June 2025 and continue to uphold all NIST SP 800‑171 technical controls required to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) across our systems, processes, and operations.

What is CMMC? The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) framework designed to ensure that contractors implement and maintain robust cybersecurity practices. CMMC Level 2 requires organizations to demonstrate effective, ongoing adherence to NIST SP 800‑171 controls for protecting sensitive government data.
